Abstract: This work is a study of technology in education, and it is directed the use of the Geogebra software as an aid for studying the concepts of polynomial functions of 1st and 2nd degree, exploring its elements from the tools provided by the software. It aims to show the math teacher, another interesting possibility teaching, which can be applied in the classroom, contributing to a significant learning of the students, since such functions are used as a basis for studying other subjects of this discipline. Where from the pedagogics displayed on the development of this work, it is believed that the class become more productive and dynamic, with an easily accessible technology and simple handling. The research basically talks about educational technologies, and the importance of their implementation in the classroom; Concepst of polynomial function of the first and second degree, as well as their proper elements; Presentation of the Geogebra software, and Geogebra's application of the two cited functions. The methodology used for this research was from the review of the available literature, that is, from existing primary sources such as books, articles, monographs, dissertations and other sources. Through the development of this work, is possible to notice how far the GeoGebra software is effective for teaching functions, making it an excellent technological resource for the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Abstract: We live in an era where it is essential to search for knowledge, currently the technology and information plays an important role, becoming necessary in any sector of human activity. Is research aimed at answering the question: Information and communication technologies can help the teacher in the didactic transposition of some mathematical objects? To answer it, a literature study was carried out with different authors, the historical-cultural approach to mathematics education, on information and communication technology, seeking a theoretical basis related to the importance of the presence of the same for the teaching-learning contextualized and significant of mathematics. Where every job we encounter new concepts, new trends, which are directly related to mathematics and consequently with our lives. Being a technology increasingly present in our daily life, I could not stay out of the school environment, becoming important for both teachers and students. It is true that the school needs to modernize, has to be flexible according to the needs of students. In a society technologies are becoming more relevant day is perfectly justified their integration into the school environment. Classrooms have to become a pleasant environment, where students have the pleasure of being; classes must become more attractive, providing a favorable environment for education. It is necessary that the teacher becomes a facilitator of knowledge and know introduce ICT as a resource in the educational process, aiming thus a better quality of teaching and learning. To materializes realize that the same, when used correctly and contextualized way extend the student's learning opportunities and enriches the form of work of teachers, since they have other options to streamline lessons and make them more pleasing to the students.

Abstract: Speaking of statistics is not only to report to collect data, how to conduct surveys for data achievement, aiming to make a census, but rather join a network of wire connections between its different branches with different areas of expertise either on its functionality or either on its practical application, which we highlight here some of these areas that are related to the statistical universe, such as in farming, economics, demography, biology, short implementation is under various human activities .
We realized then that the statistic is of paramount importance to the various daily activities of the human being is indispensable for decision-making from the phenomenon of observation any, on the other hand we know a little of its history, some concepts, finally meet data concrete that enable us to take these actions.
However, our main goal is to share some of the statistical development, showing that both at school and outside it, we resort to statistical analysis for observation of a phenomenon and from the results we make a decision to seek new ideas that provide us overcome obstacles and find techniques to obtain increasingly precise and exact data.
First we discuss the history of statistics, then we show some important concepts involving this branch of applied mathematics, continuing the subject we will cover the branches of statistics and knows how works statistical method, describing each of its phases, later we will see the series statistics, statistical graphics and even some position measurements.
From then we discuss the most targeted statistic for our reality both on school grounds and in the social area. In this part we will begin talking about the polls and on the list of lottery games with statistics, then will address the Excel 2007 program and a mathematical software known as probability to the polls in order to seek in our children's interest not only just study mathematics, but they can through these digital resources to build a more concrete knowledge assimilating more quickly and dynamics such knowledge and so work their skills and deductive logical reasoning. Finally, we discuss some of the application of statistics in the different areas of knowledge.

Abstract: Mathematics has an irresistible elegance and an essential utility in our
lives. However, not rarely, simple mathematical problems require complex
strategies for resolution. Then charm is taken by disappointment or by a
persistent search for simple solutions that are not always found masterfully. The
fact is that we can relate the techniques of a particular area in mathematics to
problems in other areas, and this is what our work consists in. We will use some
geometric results related to Ptolemy's theorem, in order to simplify the solutions
of some problems in number theory. Number theory is a branch of mathematics
that has its well-known particularities in the search for problem demonstrations
that took years to solve, and others that have not come to any conclusion despite
many scholars’ efforts. Some problems have not taken so many years to be
solved, but their solutions were presented in a complex way. With the use of
strategies of the geometry milieu even high school students are mature enough
to understand what is being presented. If those problems were simply solved with
arguments of the number theory, their understanding could become even more
difficult for many under graduating students.
