Sujeito do discurso, crise de identidade e poéticas contemporâneas

Abstract

The aim of this article is a reflection on the idea of the subject of discourse and his identity, particularly starting from the notion of discourse in act, developed by Fontanille and Zilberberg (1998), and counting on the additional contribution of Landowski (1986, 1992 and 2002) and Coquet (1997). At the same time, corroborative texts are presented, demonstrating the consciousness of the role of speech, mediating and establishing the world and the subject simultaneously, at the basis of the work of modern and postmodern authors. To do so, Fernando Pessoa’s poems “Autopsicografia” and “Isto” are employed, the lyrics “As coisas” and “Fora de si”, written by Arnaldo Antunes, are exploited as typical examples of this consciousness of the performative function of the speech in the constitution of the world and the enunciating subject.
