| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Como resultado de um estudo ainda preliminar, extrato de uma pesquisa mais ampla sobre as políticas de avaliação da educação superior, este artigo objetiva apresentar uma análise sobre as mudanças efetivadas nos processos avaliativos implementados no âmbito das Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) a partir de 1996. Nesse processo, apresenta-se um breve histórico das políticas de avaliação da educação superior no país, principalmente o advento das políticas neoliberais na área da educação, com intuito de situar o atual sistema de avaliação em vigor e contextualizar a análise a que se propõe este trabalho. No decorrer do estudo, foram definidos alguns conceitos sobre política educacional e avaliação, embasados em autores destas temáticas. O método de pesquisa adotado foi a pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, e o tipo de pesquisa foi classificado como pesquisa documental, já que se trata de análise de documentos oficiais do Ministério da Educação (MEC). |
| Abstract: | As a result of a preliminary study, part of a broader research on evaluation policies of higher education, this paper aims to show an analisys of changes in the evaluation processes implemented within Instituitions of Higher Education (IES) since 1996. In this process, a brief history of higher education’s evaluation policies in Brazil is presented, especially the advent of neoliberal policies for education field in order to situate the current system of evaluation and contextualize the analysis intended by this work. Over the study, some concepts on evaluation and educational policy were defined based on authors who deal with these topics. The qualitative approach was adopted, being represented here by the method of documental research, since official documents of the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) are the focus of this analisys. |
