| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Este artigo discorre sobre a Trilogia da Morte de Petrus Cariry, formada por O Grão (2007), Mãe e Filha (2011) e Clarisse ou Alguma Coisa sobre Nós Dois (2015) em diálogo com o pensamento de Vilém Flusser. Flusser, que ganhou notoriedade em seus estudos sobre as imagens técnicas e a fotografia, se dedica a assuntos como a tradução, os gestos, teorias da mídia, dentre outros. Nos artigos A morte, A morte de Franco e a arte da sobrevivência, A morte de Guimarães Rosa, Da imortalidade I e II e Da tradução (e da morte), encontramos reflexões de Flusser a respeito da morte – tema que já aparece no livro O mundo codificado como um assunto ligado à gênese da comunicação. Também dialogamos com Walter Benjamin, Elizabeth Kübler-Ross e Philippe Ariès. |
| Abstract: | This article discusses Petrus Cariry’s Death Trilogy, that is formed by the films Grain (2007), Mother and Daughter (2011) and Clarisse or Something About Us (2015) in dialogue with the reflections of Vilém Flusser. Flusser, who has gained notoriety in his studies of technical images and photography, is dedicated to subjects such as translation, gestures, media theories, among others. In the articles The death, Franco’s death and the art of survival, Guimarães Rosa’s death, Immortality I and II and Translation (and death), we find Flusser’s reflections on death - theme that already appears in the book The codified world as a subject connected to the genesis of communication. We dialogue with Walter Benjamin, Elizabeth Kübler-Ross and Philippe Ariès. |
