O papel positivo do trabalho na sociedade civil Hegeliana

Abstract

This research seeks to analyze the concept of work (Arbeit) in the Work Principles of Hegel's Philosophy of Law, emphasizing some of the positive aspects of work in Hegel's own conception. To this end, firstly, the place and function of the concept of work in the Hegelian system is explained, focusing on the problems it intends to solve and the influences that Hegel had to develop a concept of work in a positive sense, for what Modernity , especially Political Economy, made a special contribution. Secondly, the positive aspects inherent in work are investigated in order to clarify the meaning of the Hegelian formulation according to which work forms and mediates the scope of Freedom. This is done by analyzing the interrelationships between individuals in civil society, where the formative dimension of work is seen in relation to the individual, when he meets the need of the other and of himself through work. But clarifying this dimension requires revisiting the speculative structure of work in Hegel's Ethics of Philosophy of Law. But if work takes on this formative role, it will mediate the scope of effective freedom. We will also analyze the relationship of work with the economy and law, as we will see that the intense economic relations imposed by work will require a compiled right to be followed in Hegel's civil society structure. Finally, the question of the universal richness of civil society is bound to be ours, since the work of all for all is what enriches society, yet society is not rich enough to supply the needs of all its members, such problems will be elucidated in the respective dissertation.
