Abstract: | The Internet of Things (IoT) has been the subject of several studies due its wide range of applications. The IoT consists of devices with computing and communication capacity that are interconnected using the Internet, called smart objects. The growing number of smart objects arranged on the day-to- day provide a large volume of data that require a capable infrastructure storing and processing them. The cloud computing can provide adequate models and infrastructure for storage and processing for high scalability. The Software Defined Networks (SDN) is a new paradigm that allows the user to implement several services on the network in an agile way. In this article we present MINER, an approach to data management and IoT services using SDN in a cloud computing infrastructure. In this article, we exposed the details and characteristics of the MINER approach, aiming at an improvement in the performance information response time for a low computational cost in the cloud infrastructure. |
